Here we don't need lime, opposite problem soil is too high ph,
so really that one we can't guess, it depends on your soil. But
if your soil is low on ph, it would be good to fix that, as it won't
matter what else in your soil, the low ph binds it up and doesn't
let plant roots pry it loose....
30 lbs of P and 50lbs on K per acre will take care of it for a
food plot. And really most likely your soil might find that much
in it now, as others say, for a food plot its not critical.
You don't need any N for beans / legumes, they create their
own. They make an innoculate to help them get started
making their own N, but for a food plot for a 1/2 acre probably
isn't worth it.
If it goes I'll attach a pic with more info than you want to know
of what an average crop of soybeans uses to grow a crop plus
the plant itself. Remember with beans to discount the N
numbers because its a legume.
