Planted Oats Today

Got to use my $35.00 drill this afternoon. Planted a small, .4 acre plot. I think I'll rig a marker like someone suggested. Following the outside row with the inside wheel is a lot easier said than done, especially in small, odd shaped plots. Supposed to rain tonight so maybe I'll get a good germination. Plant for deer and rabbit forage; rabbits use it for cover once it gets bigger.

Got 15 acres in yesterday it should do good with the rain .worked all day with a 10 ft disc and 8 ft drill renter pulled in with his rig big 4 wd tractor big disc combo 40 acres in an hour makes me feel old and slow . looked across the road amish with ih wheel disc and 8 horse hitch ok i aint that old would have been a great photo op.
