Any one get any wind and rain today?

If my high tunnel was going to go down today would have been the day. It blew down trees and tops off barns and houses here, but just got a half inch of rain. Momma Nature can be cruel.
 
Didn't get any yet. I'm so mad I could spit nails. I disced corn stalks Wednesday where I want to plant oats. The panic monger weather liars said up to an inch of rain Thursday night,so I didn't want to plow it before a rain because the field is low and wet all the way across the south end.
Well,we got a little drizzle Friday morning,not enough water to comb your hair. I could have been on it spreading fertilizer by Friday afternoon and had them in this weekend.
Now they're saying rain all week.
 
We musta had 10% less wind but 100% more rain.

I got some thunderstorms around 6:00 tonight.
Sposed to rain off and on most of the week.
I flew in from Sacramento, Ca. Friday night and ne ver saw the ground until I got to eastern Iowa, so I kinda figured we'd be getting rained on for a good while.
 
Tired of the wind..breeze fine..but the 35+ winds are tiring..Had 1" of rain yest..(sun) was welcomed.. replanted hay field couple weeks ago..very dry so hopefully this with some warm temps will jump it up..
 
Today, 4-28-14, we have the wind and just a sprinkle so far. Should dry out some of the heavier ground I have. Tried plowing a couple of days ago but it was too wet.

Third day of relentless, 30+ mph wind with gusts to near 50 here in central Kansas. We've only picked up about a half inch of rain total in the last two months so things are starting to get quite parched. Other places in the region have gotten some good rains lately but we've missed out on all but a few sprinkles. It needs to come soon or things will start getting ugly.
 
Animal, No Rain Here in South Central Texas! No Real Prospects either for a long while,,, over 2 weeks.
