I'm thinking about using one of these root grubbers to undercut honeysuckle and other brush that's grown up in former CRP land. It's supposed to go under the soil and cut the roots to kill the brush.
This one is sold by Jones Manufacturing in TX. They have different sizes based on tractor HP. Anyone used a root grubber like this or similar for clearing brush? They aren't cheap so would like some opinions before buying.
I had posted this question about a month ago on Tool Talk but had mistakenly called it a brush grubber, which is different (more of a clamp).
