We have been shy on moisture for a couple of years now. This is supposed to be our rainy season. I got an inch of rain Monday and the wind has blown to beat the band for two days and its drier than a powder keg again. Red flag warnings all over the country.

I got between 8 and 9 tenths out of that Sunday/Monday rain.

Snow is starting to stick a tad on the ground now, but we are supposed to get less than 2 inches here. We had a drizzle all afternoon. Cold drizzle.

I agree, we have had 3 dry falls in a row, hurt the crops. Just bone dry after July 4th. Nothing.

This spring the ditch is very low again, meaning we don't have much ground water. It only flooded my fields a few days.

We have had a lot of wind, strong wind, which seems to go with dry weather. See saws from northwest to south.
