spraying non GMO corn

i"m working on switching my corn acres to non GMO corn. last year i sprayed roundup on the field but dont think that will hurt my non GMO crop. my question is, what is a good pre emergent herbicide to use, if any? kinda wanted to wait till the corn was up a little before i cultivate.
my plan for the year was haul manure, disc, plant non gmo, use a pre emergent, then cultivate cultivate cultivate.

Ya,it'll depend on what you want to kill, but atrazine and Prowl pre emerge works for me.

There are several post emerge herbicides you can use on Non GMO corn to kill all weeds.

But a good pre emerge does pretty good at suppressing weeds. I use Bicep.

Atrazine is pretty effective, and low cost. I've used a couple pre-emerge products that contain it (Harness, Staunch). It works well to incorporate it in shallow ahead of planting, or impregnate the fertilizer (if you broadcast apply fertilizer) with it. If you spray it on right after planting, it needs rain to incorporate it in within 10 days to be most effective. You may need to get in with a post-emerge if your pre-emerge doesn't work well enough. Accent Gold or Steadfast have worked well for us in conventional corn. A local extension office will probably be able to give you some options for chemicals. You may find it is more expensive to spray non-GMO corn versus the Roundup-Ready varieties. But I think both types of corn have their place... Good luck!

Why bother spraying if you are going to cultivate. I spray atrazine post and never see the field again till I bring the picker.

Lexar is a great product, it has atrazine, callisto, and dual in it, two good weed herbicides and a grass herbicide. You can use it pre and/or post emergent. My fields are clean year after year with it, very rarely do I have to use Roundup
