Int 5100 drill and canola?

How many horsepower would this drill call for on moderately sloped to level ground? Has fert and grass seed boxes also.

I plan on seeding between 4.5 to 5 lbs/acre and would like to use my 670 MF to pull it.

Not exactly sure , but we pulled 28ft of 6200 press
drills with 100hp when we had them... I suspect you
could pull a 5100 with 50 or 60hp comfortably. Heck
years ago they pulled 10ft of drill with a couple
of horses all day long... so you might be able to
get by with something as small as 30hp provided you
don't want to do it at 10mph.

I assume you're going to use the grass seed box? You won't have enough weight in the drill to say so, unless you're putting on fertilizer at the same time.
I planted canola once, through the grass seed attachment on a grain drill. Was aiming for 5#. Got on about 5.5# Had the ground fitted right down flat and tight. And that minimizes HP requirements too.

How many hole is it, 18-20-21? Grandpa pulled a new 18
hole 5100 with a JD model A for years no problem. They
don't pull hard only thing is a little tongue weight.

I'm not familiar with your tractor, but I pull a 24 hole (12') IH
5100 AND a 12' Brillion cultipacker/seeder behind it with a Ford
4600 (52 PTO h.p.).

pulled about 13' of a IH 510 with an Oliver 66 at 5.5 mph drilling beans about 4 years ago
the 66 is rated around 24hp
flat good worked ground

Ok good to hear.
I'm going to be running 5 mph and planting through the regular seed box. I have a 14' brillion roller on the drawbar and hopefully I can pull with it down.

I'll broadcast my fertilizer to help save weight.
