Wife had the belly of the car scraping a pattern in the heavy wet white snow when she left this morning. I'm not Wally sure how deep that is, was impressed the car drove right through, that part time 4wd comes in handy in this climate.

Supposed to be 70 degrees here on Thursday, I'll believe that when I see it. 19 degrees tonight they forcast. At least the strong winds this afternoon might not move much, the snow is heavy enough.

Been a long winter. Still winter.

Schools all starting 2 hours late. There is an auction starting at 11:00 today I was going to check out, does t say its postponed. Not sure its worth going, the mud, the water, and won't be able to see what they are selling out of this or that pile of snow..... Maybe go for the entertainment value?

My wife has a Ford Freestyle AWD, we have winter studded tires on, it's amazing what that thing will go through... after this winter and all the blowing snow (with rock hard drifts) the car is missing most of the plastic below the front bumper...

She went to work the other week, and phoned me from the highway and asked if i could plow the road out before she came home as she had a hard time making it to the highway... it made the tractor grunt getting through the drifts she managed to get the car through.

And yes this winter is getting old already... i'm waiting for spring.

Had about 10" of heavy wet stuff this morning and the wifes little front wheel drive chevy cobalt plowed right on through it. No need for an SUV or AWD.
