How low moisture can you store corn in a Harvestor

Has anyone tried storing shelled corn at 16 to 19% in a
Harvester Silo? And, if so how did it work out?

You can store as dry as you want. If it will keep 25% corn it will keep 13% corn as well.

Guys around here use them for dry corn storage.

I would advise against that moisture range. High moisture Most prefer corn above 28%. In my area where grain is being stored a ventilation system has been installed. Then yes you could store that range of corn during the cool months. Not advised in my area past April.

as long as the bags in the silo are good and you keep it sealed, you can do whatever moisture you want, just like IAGARY said. i"ve put some in at 30% before and never had an issue. if the air bags dont work, that"s a different story.
