neighbor built a giant version of one of these that he pulls with a 1486. the wheel is about 6 ft in diameter. he can toss dirt 50-60 ft easy. a hydro tractor would be better, but thats what he has. he uses it for ditches and waterways, and some terracing.

When I was a kid in Idaho, they had a ditcher, which was a small version of a V blade plow with a wheel on both sides. You pulled it with a tractor, with a tire on each side of the ditch.

Did that work reasonably well? I don't now if my tractor would span the ditch though might be too wide in spots. putting a long back blade on and doing one side at a time might work

If you go to Utube and find V wing ditcher, at the beginning of the video is a picture of the ditcher I am talking about.
