I hope none of you received a lot of damage from the snow and ice storm. We seem to have more than our share of ice here in Missouri and it is dangerous. It can come from the south as well as the north here, and that's why I like to monitor the weather with everyone.

Kin I come down where y'all are for some rest?? We've been getting snow all winter, 1/2" of ice last week, started this week with an inch or so of snow yesterday evening, and are now calling for a major snow Thursday, and more for next Sunday......

I live about 60 miles east of Atlanta and the ice was bad on the roads but didn't cause any other damage that I know of. The weather did a 180 from mid week...yesterday it was 68 and sunny, today was 65 and sunny. Worked outside in my T-shirt. :)

Weve been lucky so far, but Im not too far south. So far just one frozen pipe. Rocket scientist who rents some winter grass from me decided to shut off a tank valve. So, the line back froze at the pond. Terrible mess to fix since it had to run 2 weeks to even think about digging it out.

Just hold on dude. The weather guessers say we are going to get back to what we had in Dec and get more rain freezing rain and snow the first of next week. Last I heard it was going to come in Monday evening and I know I sure hope it does wait till evening since I have to be in Columbia on that day for a V.A. appointment

I have had my head into bookwork with the weather channel running in the back round, so I did not get anything local until 5, My weather guesser said we are in for hard winter starting tomorrow night here.
