My buddy owns a franchise Propane Depot and he closed his doors today because he ran out . Don't when the next truck will deliver and he has contracts to fill.

We try to buy enough to last all year. Filled up in August or September for $1.59. As soon as it gets cold it goes up.

I think you will find there is a lot more natural gas used to make Anhydrous than there is LP. NG is still super cheap, and will be for the foreseeable future.

There was a story on the Wichita TV news the other evening about how propane went up close to a dollar in one day. They said it was due to the tight supply in this area but even if that is true this seems like a very radical increase.

Last I had checked with my Coop was Monday. Price was $2.25.

Checked today and it is $4.35 off the pipeline. I hadn"t realized it had jumped like that this week.

Our Coop can still get the loads we need from the pipeline. Most of the coop needed gallons were prebooked under $2.00 But price is jumping at the rack.

Senator Grassley is asking the trade commission to check into price gouging.

Let"s see where that leads to.

Gary

This reminds me of the 1974 gas shortage and how gas went from $00.199 to $00.759 in less then 2 months

It will end with Grassly and others receiving kick backs to keep their mouths shut and look the other way. Everything and almost everyone has been corrupted by the dollar.

You know how it is just like gas and diesel propane will go the same way. There pushing natural gas in this area now but it too will probably not last long and stay cheap

you know how the system works, the market will stop going up when the market will bear no more, the problem starts with the traders
