Batten down the hatches

All depends on where you are as for the weather guessers here in Missouri. Last I saw south of me they are going to get rain and north of me ice and snow and up where you are a good bit of snow. But he odd thing is that where I am there is a band that is said will not get much of any thing

You're a little late to the party. The freezing rain started here in the middle of the night. Still coming down off and on. Supposed to be nasty straight through and turn to snow Sunday. I just got two weeks worth of snow and frozen manure out of the feedlots anyway. It got warm enough to loosen it up.

We got freezing rain last night through today, not a lot but kept going. We are supposed to get 4-7" of snow with high winds tomorrow night.

East Central Iowa.

Been a long ugly winter already, and doesn't even start for another day or two.....

We get the cold again this week, you guys south and east get the mess.

Paul

Well its here and we are catching he11, raining and then freezing, we have a quarter to half inch of ice on the ground and dang is it slick!

Got rain here and the only place so far that it is sticking is on the trees and other such stuff that is off the ground. The ground and roads are still good to go on but who knows what is going to happen tonight

Up over 50 today, light rain. 43 or so now, rain supposed to pick up. 61 tomorrow, more rain. Nice snow cover (8" or so from a week ago) will be going, going, gone. Freeze again Monday night, then frigid (5) Tuesday night, when the poor snowmakers will be desperately trying to make up the weekend's losses at the ski areas in time for the holiday crowds.

I suppose I should go out and plant more "not exactly wild" garlic tomorrow afternoon.

Here in the Hesston-Hillsboro-McPherson area we had sleet start around noon then this evening the snow cut loose and is coming down pretty hard. There's about four inches on the ground now and they're predicting it to keep coming down most of the night. Lots of churches being called off for tomorrow including ours.

We've had those ice storms around here before- I don't envy any of you if you're where they hit. Just "Good Luck" and hope every one survives them OK......
