What chemicals for conventional beans?

Gonna plant conventional again this coming year, and Treflan for grass control is still fine, but it seems we have a lack of chemicals anymore that dont burn beans,or so it seems talking to local elevators/seed sellers. It seems Basagran and Cobra are all anybody uses.Is there another option that dont burndown? What happened to Classic and Canopy type of sprays? They didnt burn and we always got a kill with crop oil,and never had weed resistance either.Any suggestions?

With Roundup beans being so popular it is hard for a chemical company to spend money for research to develop a new chemical that will not get bought.

As far as the burning of beans research has shown that it will enhance the yield of beans when certain diseases are a problem.

I liked Flexstar myself. Didn"t burn as bad as Cobra but still did a number on broadleaf weeds.

Timing of application will also help to reduce but not eliminate burning of beans.

Most of the old chemicals are still available.

No need for new technology when the old sprays worked for us,and last year with our drought killed the dog$hit out of beans with the burndown and never another rain for a month,It sure enhanced the yield allright!Killed it!

I have trouble with suppliers getting me the sprays I want. They just push off onto me what they have in back, instead of getting what I want.

Planted conventional soybeans this year myself, and the local COOP was able to spray Classic and crop oil. It did a very good job of killing the weeds.
