Corn Stalk Bales

We baled cornstalks for the first time last year to bed our steers with. It worked great so I wanted to try it again this year. Last year we didn’t get the corn off till December due to the weather. So when we baled the corn stalks they were extra dry and we never worried about them heating in the barn. My question for this year is, we are taking the corn off now about 18-20 percent moisture. How high of moisture can we bale the corn stalks to not have the bales heat and mold in the barn. I was planning to chop the field, let it dry for a few days (weather permitting) and then bale with a small square baler. Any help would be great. Thanks guys!
