fall spraying

Yes. If you are having problems with marestail or other winter annual weeds, getting them in the fall is very important. Killing them when they are small is easier than when they are dragging on the boom. I had picked up some ground that previous renter did not take care of winter annuals and I fall sprayed quart glypho and 2 oz sharpen with the needed additives and then drilled rye. Did a burn down of glyph and 24-d about 2 weeks ahead of planting and did not get it planted for 6 weeks due to rain. When I did no till drill the beans in, there were no weeds at all. Sprayed Prowl and Authority XL for residual and may sound like I am bragging but, cleanest beans around. So yes, fall spraying is going to become more important with the resistant weeds we are having along with spraying as often as needed to get the weeds when small.

rented farms, didn't know any thing about them, loaded with weed problems. round-up ready and full of weeds. need to take care of this problem.

Depends on the weeds. Great time for actively growing grasses - maybe not so good for weeds running their course for the year.
