I am going to be sowing some wheat here shortly for a food plot. The ground that I have to work has 6 or so sycamore trees on the edge. I was planning on using a single shank sub spoiler to bust the roots before plowing it with 3-16's. figured I would be 15 feet off the trees with the sub soiler & 10" deep. If it kills the trees in the next couple years, then I will have firewood for the next 3 years. No worries. There is a nice walnut tree that is in the corner & I don't want to harm that. How far from the walnut should I stay away from it?

If that 15' was from the drip line of the tree y'll probably be ok. If that 15' is still under the drip line of the tree you may kill it.
