how to change bale size from four foot ito five foot

Well, I will assume a round baler but I could be wrong.

Now, a make and model would make this a whole lot easier!

Well since there is probably at least a thousand models of balers that have been made over the year your question is like me asking you what color my car is which since you have not seen it you can not tell me.
Lack of info on the forums is the worse thing a person can do when asking a question and one line or 10 lines still cost you the same thing

Assuming you don't really want to handle a 5' idiot cube, you must be talking round bales. While a few round balers are adjustable, most aren't. And, again, getting a book on your baler is the easiest way to find out.
