Moisture Tester for Wheat

I need to get a moisture tester. Have been looking at them and basically find there are probes, and canister type. They seem to be in two price ranges 50-90 and 180-300.
I'm only doing 16 acres of wheat, hope to increase in the future but who knows. I will be storing it myself for a few months at least.
Looking for input/experience before I buy one.

Dicky-John mini GAC or mini GAC+. The plus version is more expensive and also measures test weight. The only portable test unit that everyone has raved about the last couple of years. Personally for 16 acres I would take a sample to the local elevator if reasonably located. Fifty miles isn't reasonable, ten-fifteen more acceptable. My elevator is roughly four miles to the east, so no urgency to buy a tester, unless I had a drier and storage. Depending on how distant the elevator, time lost and money spent on gas could soon justify buying a tester.

I'll look into those you suggested. The elevator is 40 miles away, that's why I'm going to store it myself. Then I'll have to hire a semi to haul it in for me due to the time of driving a farm truck that far with multiple loads.
I have a friend/neighbor that I'm sure would say to come use his if I asked I just hate to always be that guy.

We just had to get a new moisture tester this year. The old one from John Deere was nearly 20 years old. It would have lasted longer but there was an incident with the thermos of water. Oops.

I just went to Deere and got another canister type - $250 or so. It is a chunk of change but lots easier than hauling a coffee can to the elevator all the time!

For wheat all you need to do is put 8 or 10 kernels in your mouth. If it crunches just like chewing on gravel it is good to store.
