What kind of grass is this?

I'm getting ready to sell or donate some hay and I'm not a grass expert by any means. My grandfather seeded the fields but he is gone now so I can't ask him, and I want to be able to tell people what the hay is. I know there is a lot of clover in the fields but I'm not sure about the other. A guy that used to buy my hay told me it was Timothy but I have no clue if he was right or not. Thanks for all your help.

Looks like green grass and red clover to me. With out the seed heads green grass pretty much all looks the same. The clover since it shows the flower and leaves was easy to figure out

Timothy hay twists about 90 degrees when it comes up. Looks like there might be some of that in your picture. When was the picture taken? looks like regrowth after cutting.

It is...that is after the 1st cutting but I can get a pic of a field that hasn't been mowed yet when I go back out there

Looks a lot like fescue to me although there looks
to be at least 3 species of grass and two of legume.
Look up what a ligule is and then take a picture of
that. The common grasses are easy to distinguish
when looking at the ligule and auricles, those terms
with pictures are easy to look up on the USDA and
extension websites with good pictures.
