drying time?

How long will it take my grass hay to dry after mowing with a sickle bar and side delivery rake on a 21 acre field at 5700 ft elevation,temp 86 degrees with humidity 15% with 15 mph wind? Is 15% moisture in the bale my goal?

Very hard to say for sure with out being there to see and feel it. Me I cut one day then let sit for a day then bale it on the 3rd day most of the time that is.

I'm live with almost identical weather conditions in Colorado. If you are talking totally grass hay, I cut with a New Idea 290 mower conditioner and I can bale the next day. So, I think what "old" has said is more accurate due to just sickle cut.
