Farming Book Help. Row cropping tricycle tractor

I need help with farming with a John Deere A tricycle tractor.
I don't know much a bought Row Cropping methods or cultivating.
I need to know how much the row widths should be for each tipe of crop, and to sit up the plow and cultivator to.
I thought that they probably wrought some good hand books on that in the 30s and 40s for for people like me?
Could some one suggest a good book for me on row cropping with those old tractors and equipment from the 40s

30 inch row spacing is a good modern size for both corn and beans.

Corn at 38 inches works fine still, assuming you are not planting a 1/2 a county.

Beans its easier to control weeds at 15 inch; spaced pretty darn wide at 38 inches might hurt yield some, 30 inch works fine if that's what you have. Drilled beans work fine 6-7 inch spacing) but you can't cultivate and some diseases (white mold) are worse in some areas with such close spacing.

For corn, you need all items to match on spacing - planter, cultivator, combine or picker header. It is easier and cheaper to find old equipment in the wider row widths for corn.

Beans get cut with a sickle on the header and won't matter.

Lots of other possibilities and opinions, but just kinda generally more or less like this on row spacing.....

30 or 38 inch for corn, closer rows might yield a tad better, wider equipment is cheaper and more common on old stuff.

Beans, drilled at 6-7 inches, or planted at 15 or 30 inches is good, the wide rows at 38 inch will mean less yield, more weeds.

I for got to say that I live in central Alabama zone 7-8 and want to plant vegetables such as corn beans squash okra rutabagas peas cucumbers and collards.
The book wold not have to be about John Deere's but be about the old farming methods.
All the books I could fine was about small gardening or spraying herbicide from air conditioned cab and a couple of textbooks.
