Second cutting of alfalfa is done. Yield was 1.65 T /A. First cut was 1.5 T.
Kept some fuel figures using the Farmall 95. 1.75 gpa to mow (10 ft haybine), .75gpa to bale. .5/A to rake using the Super H. Total of 3.0 gallons per acre of fuel to put it up in small square bales. Or, $10.50 per acre.
Customers take it off the field.
Sold the hay for 200 or $330 per acre gross, 280 net. Will I see 850 dollar and acre profit on alfalfa this year?

I make small square bales. Weigh a bunch and figure what the average weight is. Fields are measure with GPS for acreage.
