Soybean problems

Soybeans aren"t near the color they should be, Ph is high 7.7, I"m thinking the bean can"t get the iron it needs. Is there anything I can spray to help with this?

With high ph your soybeans can't get the nutrients out of the soil. You might try to foliar feed with some p and k with some micronutrients. Best thing is have your local agronomist look at your beans.

There is a product called Versa DF that may help the iron deficiency. It is a chelated iron that can be either applied in-furrow at planting or can be foliar applied later. The in-furrow way works best from what I have heard. I could not find this product with a google search, but know it does exist. Rosen's out of Fargo, ND handles it.

Hope this helps,
Lon

tissue samples are the best to find your deficiencies ,with the high ph and yellowing sounds like manganese is locked up or low

Tissue sample test first but foailersome sulfer iron and magnesium. Also with a ph of7.5 you still have 93% yield potential so 7.7 is not what yea want but. I would say there is other issues.

Thanks for all the reply's. I talked to the local agronomist, he didn't know anything.
I ended up spraying something called carbon mix, it has organic matter and humic acid, mixed with LX 7 with is manganese, boron, zinc, and sulfur.
I can tell they are looking a lot better already.
What is recommended that I put down this fall to get this Ph down?
