Is anyone drying out yet?

We got another half today with more coming tonight, this is starting to get real serious!

Sprinkled today. I picked stones on the field that I THINK I can get in to corn next. I'm gonna TRY to get over what I can, shallow with the field cultivator tomorrow, then deep Friday and try to plant it Saturday. If I have to,I'll plant it crossways of the field and plant the high side and leave the low side for later. Supposed to rain Sunday and Monday again,so the silage corn might very well be going in in July. About a 50/50 chance of that right now.

Rain today in SC. No hay cutting for this week.
There is a named storm in the Gulf forecast to go up the east coast, outer bands hitting 75 miles east of me. Winds 39-73 mph. Supposed to wind up in the NJ area(I know that thrills them after Sandy) and then go east across the Atlantic. That's tonight's forecast, tomorrow may be entirely different.

Ya been wanting to do hay but have yet to have a 4 day window to do so. Seems we have 3 days dry if lucky and then more rain. Hay is getting real tall and needs cut but not going to do so till I get a 4 day weather guesser report

Local neighborhood, we get nuisance sprinkles, so can't do hay. Getting down near 50 tonite, think the furnace would kick on if it were plugged in, wasn't too warm today, and 62 for a high timorrow....

The hilltops are kinda dry tho, and the last field of beans I put in could use a little rain.

Yet, its cloudy, cold, spritzing every other day....

Kinda ood. This is June?

Every time it gets a good start on drying out around here it rains, I saw a guy playing in the mud with his field cultivator yesterday, that's nuts tho, if the rains go around us we may be able to go again by Saturday or Sunday

Last year I didn't have any hay to cut, this year it's up to my armpits and getting stemmier every day I don't cut it. The late orchard grass is all headed out and the timothy and alfalfa are not far behind...maybe next week?

It rains here in central wisconsin for 3 days and then stops for one, lol. Can't do anything here west of the wisconsin river, heavy soil, too wet. I have just about given up on planting corn this year.
