round up mixture

can a round-up 24d mix be tank mixed with copper sulfate for corn without one reacting on the other affecting it

I don't know anything about copper sulfate.

I think roundup and 2,4D don't work well together. They might mix, but one is a slow, get into the roots deal as it grows; the other is a quick, plug up the veins shut the plant down quick type.

Mixed together, neither one will really work right on the weeds, they will counter act each other and not kill the weeds as well as either one along?

Not so, roundup and 2-4-d work well together. We spray our corn at a quart of roundup per acre a little 2-4-d and sticker to make it stay on the plants a little better. Works great. Neighbor mixes a couple hundred acres of corn a year the same way and also pre planting spraying the same.

Just a little exta insurance against anything that's getting tolerant to roundup and helps hit the broadleaf s a little harder. I don't know if its overkill but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. My only point was that the two do mix and work well together.

Landmaster BW is exactly that, a mixture of glyphosate and 2,4-D. Glyphosate alone doesn't work the best on bindweed (hence the "BW" in the name) and there are other weeds like marestail that are completely immune to glyphosate.

Just curious. Roundup and the salt version of 2,4-D is about all I'm able to buy without being certified.

the round-up 24d mix has been used for several years around here as a burn down ,also used in mature corn applied with drop nozzles as a clean up application, reason i asked about the copper sulfate was i ask for copper to be blended into the fertilizer and it didn't get put in, now i'm seeing signs of copper deficiency in the field that needed it and wanted to apply some with the weed control spray of round-up and 24d unless there is a better way for it to be available for the corn this season

Roundup doesn't kill everything anymore! We are mixing Roundup, 24D, Sharpen plus als and crop oil. Mares-tail has got really hard to kill. A disc workes the best this year.
