Are you wet yet? 6 inches in the past two days on saturated ground. The local channel said the draught is officially over!

Got a tad bit less then 1 inch Thursday night and then last night Friday got up to tab bit less then 1.5 inches in the rain gauge. I was getting dry down here and I was having to water the garden a bit up till Thursday. Have the hay equipment sitting ready but with the weather guessers calling for rain every 3 or 4 days have not tried to do any yet. Bad thing is we have not been getting the rain as much as they say we are going to be getting it

Some areas close to me did get hit harder then I did. Went to a friends place today to pick up 2 of his tractors to work on them and a low water crossing had me thinking maybe I should not cross it but did any how and was just fine till I tried to get out and go up his hill and spun out on the wet clay under the gravel. Had a hard time getting the old 1980 Chev to lock in 4 wheel drive and hold the load. 194? Farmall Cub and a 194? Super A. Did load then up wrong so that did not help Had the SA in the back of the trailer and should have had it up front
