Roundup

When I first bought Roundup years ago they told me not to mix it up ahead of time. Can it sit 24 hours and still be ok? I just use it to spray M-Rose around my fields and spot milkweed.

You can use a 24D product *Grazon) for those weeds and not kill the grasses around them/

I have a 1 gallon hand sprayer that sits around all summer with Roundup in it. Just as lethal in August as it is in May.

Those premixed jugs you buy at Walmart are diluted with water for months or years.

Never heard of not letting mix set.

I sprayed with a hand sprayer a month ago that was mixed last summer.

Weeds and grass died.

I think someone was pulling your leg.

The only problem I"ve had with leaving mixed,it can plug up the sprayer.

2,4-D is unrestricted. Anyone should be able to buy it. Anyone can in Iowa. Maybe your state is different. Look at a lot of garden weed killer labels at the home improvement type stores. Several of them are a Roundup/2,4-D premix.

Yes, we let it sit in the sprayer all the time, always works fine, won't hurt anything, when you buy a little bottle in the store its premixed, and they work fine.

You can buy 24D Amine at any farm store without a license.

Grazon does have a lot of 2-4-D but also Tordon. Therefore not supposed to sell it to anyone that isn't licensed.
