If some one new has read my posts for the past couple of years they would think I am totally out of my mind, or perhaps live in Missouri. We have gone from a severe drought to floods in less than a year. We got 2 and a half inches of rain in three hours yesterday, a quarter last night, pounded again after lunch and now at six its looking like all he11 is going to break loose. I keep hearing about normal years, just what the heck is a normal year? This is 12 years now since I started this farming game and I have not seen any two years similar in any way shape or form. Every one that I know of that is growing corn this year busted their rumps last week to get it in the ground, and after these toad stranglers it is a likely bet that over half of them will need to replant. After this dozen years of farming, I must say that any other life style for me would be boring and uneventful. Well he11 I can not hardly wait to see what next year is going to bring!!!!
