Is Animal able to get out in the fields and accomplish something? Haven't seen him post in a while.

Paul

Ya have not seen him post for a long time either. Guess we need to e-mail him to see if he went and tried to kick a bucket

Here I am, it rained hard here this a.m. so I finally have some free time..I have been planting corn and doing hay and I have to admit these 14 hour days are hard on an old man. It just takes a while to get in the groove. What about you Paul, did you finally get thawed out and dried up? By the way its 1pm on memorial day and it looks like we picked up 2.5 inches of rain since 6am and still sprinkling.

Way to dry down here at the lake of the Ozarks. Got a 6 inch rain a bit ago 6 inches between the drops for maybe 3 minutes if that long

We need some dry weather bad, need to get this hay down and crops planted, we are supposed to catch more tonight, oh well.

Got the corn planted a week ago Thursday, waiting to get the beans in. Going to need to tend to weeds in corn, hay, and plant beans.

Whenever it stops raining.

Ground is not saturated like the poor folk in Iowa and around, but it just keeps raining a quarter inch every day, ground never gets fit to work up and put a planter in the field....

Very cool yet, corn I planted early May is 2 leaves, very yellow, stunted. Too cold, no sun. Don't get many growing degree days out of a day with a low near 40, high near 60.

But a lot got it worse, getting along pretty good, just been sitting around the past week, too wet, too cold, too grey.

Ya your to wet and we are to dry. Sure wish you could go out side and blow hard and blow some rain down this way
