Got one of the two here at home done in rr corn today. Now the disk and planter are dialed in and working perfect. Will get the SE plot do thei evening.
Using my Farmall 95 with great CAH but when I came in the house I plucked two ticks off me. They are out there in a disked field?
Dogs have shown a few in their inner ears.

They are thick here in SW Michigan. I find one on one of the dogs, usually their ears, almost every day. For some reason, my setter hasn't had any this year and she has the most exposure to grass around the kennel. I mowed yesterday; hope that helps. I check the beagles every day and especially after running. I find them crawling on my shirt or under it often. So far none have attached.

Here are a few of my food plots.

First two are planted to corn; the other is cow peas.

That's one huge "sender" on that power line. Is that a 4 row 36 inch JD planter? Are your markers working?

Looks to me like he's using a 2 row, and following his tracks!
Looks like 1 shoe was plugged or hopper was empty on one pass.

Sheepdog;

You are right. Two row #71 units, 26" rows, 8" spacing. I have a couple of areas I need to fill in--I check every day to see if more is coming up. My cowpeas have been up for several days and I still have rows that are emerging.

GordoSD:

Yeah, those lines really "talk" on wet days, either rain or heavy snow.
