a side from a garden, does any one have anything planted?

I got my neighbors 120 acres of corn planted.

Could have planted a day and a half on mine but thought this cold weather would be to much for it.

Not even the garden, but I did plant a small patch of oats last Saturday. The patch is taking on a nice green tint. BIL planted two plantings of sweet corn. I see a lot of equipment being readied.

Have about 1300 acres planted about 40 miles northeast of Gary. Quit planting Thursday because of the cold rain and weather coming in, Butch

Garden is started and of course I no-tilled clover almost a month ago but no one around here has planted row crops yet. We are warmer now then you and are starting to dry out but limited field work.

Certainly not the garden, too cold. This week should warm up.

Got 4 acres of oats/alfalfa planted a week ago. Too cold to see any of it up yet.

Harrowed 60 acres of plow ground.

Saw one other tractor out in the neighborhood last week.

Snow is mostly gone now, if the mist clears up and we get to 60, lot will happen this week, but 2 days of rain forcast....

Southern MN.

We had springs like this in the past, just long enough ago folks don't remember. It works out.

As hard as it is on the brain....

Just finished the oats. Started yesterday afternoon.

Now,with the clutch out of the big tractor,I'm getting nervous. It's hot and windy, things are drying out like I can't believe. I'd be working all this coming week if that hadn't happened. Instead I'll be working on that. I'm afraid some of this ground is going to start getting hard before I can get on it of the grass clumps here and there are going to get awfully big before I can get a disc over them.

Got all our corn in over two weeks ago. Sprayed one field yesterday trying to control grass. (It was in hay for 5 years) Corn is 6 to 8 inches. Garden completed about 15 April, sweet corn about 6 inches. Planting some deer and turkey plots later this week.
