Been raining here all day. Had 2 days before with no rain but Tuesday we had rain. So how is it up your way??

We are getting a little water logged. I keep a daily log every year, and would you believe a year ago yesterday I baled 190 bales of alf alfa. This sure is a different kind of year. Its got all the big time corn growers nervous.....

Ya always seems it is either to wet or to dry never just what is needed but sure is better this year then last. But at any given time we can be a week away from a drought

Ain't that the truth, but if its stops raining now I think it will be 7to10 days in May before we will be able to plant corn, some guys are talking milo already.

Ya awful hard to plant any thing when you get the tractor stuck in less then 100 feet. Sure glad I do not do any row crop stuff. I do still do a garden and also some stuff for the wild life but that is it. Going to be a few days if not a week before I can do much in the garden. Creek next to the place is flowing about half bank and to tell the truth I wish it would stop rain for say a week or so then maybe an inch a week would work well. Hey at least we should have a good hay crop this year if we can get enough dry days to cut and bale it that is

My hay seems awful slow in coming around, of coarse hay does not usually grow in such cold weather and it does like sunshine.

Ya once this rain stops and the sun pops out the hay should jump a good 6-12 inch very fast or sure would seem to do so

I just heard on the farm radio station, pretty tomorrow and Monday, 30 to 80 percent chance of rain the rest of the week. 30% chance of rain the 4th of July does not mean much to me, but this time of the year usually means we are going to get more rain...

Ya I remember one year where the weather guesser would say 20% chance of rain and every time we got 20% on. Learn fast that year to not cut hay when they said 20% chance because it meant we where in for rain
