I have been pricing a new no til drill, a Krause, made in Kansas. A thirteen foot no til drill is 37K and they do not know if they will have one built by fall planting. In a world of such down troden economy, I would think you would have a couple of these on the shelf.

Farm economy has been going strong for a number of years now, but I don't think the smaller manufacturers are too keen on raising their inventory at this stage of the game.
History books are full of stories about guys with great ideas starting off like a house on fire and enden up as a big smoke bomb.
My two cents worth anyway...
If you decide to go with it, hope all works out good for you!

I hear JD can't get you a planter for 2014 if you order now?

Different world out there.

Been a long time - well now don't know if ever - I've bought a new anything from a dealer?

Very true. I asked my John Deere dealer about a new 30' CCS no till drill. He said possibly spring of 2014, but more like in the fall of 2014. I'm looking elswhere.

Check with your ascs office. They all have guys on contract to plant CRP grasses. They can do yours too. Also check with Pheasants Forever. They have some guys with drills that plant for hire.
They also do lots of food plots so smaller acreages are OK with them.
