Today I am on the edge, the radar is curling around me. The snow line is maybe 20 miles south of me, east of me. I am fairly close to the bend in the Minnesota river, if you look on a map I am always pretty easy to locate, just a tad east & north of that bend.

We had an inch of rain and a dusting of snow Saturday. Since the ground is frozen, it puddled up but someday at the end of this month it should start melting up and frost come out some and help the subsoil some.

Paul, are you northwest of Mankato?

I just been lookin at that storm on the NOAA national radar loop and it's really wound up and suckin a ton of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico.
Pullin rain showers all the way from Fla to Main.
Looks like the low pressure center is just northeast of Kansas City by maybe 30-50 miles.

Yup.

It rained on us for hours, a day ago. Pretty darn slippery walking today, took my first tumble of the year. Was in the 20s all day, with a stiff wind. Filtered sun did a tad of melting, but the wind kept a windchill to balance it off.
