Well in this area the weather man is saying we will be getting rain turning to freezing rain then snow. Temps dropping fast and just started to rain. So hows your weather and are you ready for it if it gets bad??

No mud left UP here, county guys measure the frost in a few locations and there is between 32 and 42 inches of frost in the ground and its in the teens so the top is nice and solid.

Well right now we have no mud either but we do have a nice sheet or sleet/frozen rain on top of every thing so walking around can be a bit of fun

Was 37 and drizzling all day Friday.

Was teens and lower today.

Farm yard is miserable shiny ice anywhere I compressed the snow by driving on it. Spread some gravel around, but dangerous to walk.

Worried about the cattle, they have a lot of ice to walk on too.

I've seen it worse, but need it to warm up or snow some to get rid of this ice, don't really have either in the forecast.

Paul

I think these weather folks here are totally unable to make a forecast, this pattern has them baffled. No snow in the City and the ground is covered up here with more on the way.

We have a lake effect snow warning from tonight until monday for who knows how much snow. Then snow in the forecast everyday until next weekend. Nobody UP here is getting too excited as its just normal winter weather.

I'm happy to see some winter cold coming. Don't take me long to get tired of the mud!

Ya one thing I do not like and is common in this area is the warm then cold days so you end up with the frost going out of the top inch or so of the ground so you then have mud on top of frozen ground so it gets very sloppy

I sure HOPE it freezes up good tonight. I just went out and fed then took the box scraper over everything. Two inches of mud makes 4 inch ridges. I've got it smooth as glass if it'll just stay that way.
