rented 50 acres it is in sod right now.I was thinking of working it up and planting oats pea mixture as a cover crop of wich I could cut and wrap seeing we own a vermeer bale wrapper. The grass I thought of buying a brillion seeder instead of mixing the grasses in with the oats . Plant the oats mixture first the go over it with the seeder getting a more presice seeding rate and coverage what you all think? |

| One pass. Oats go through a large seeder box separate then some grass seeds such as timothy are small seeds. Otherswise, just mix the seeds in the large seeder box and go. |

| Can you rent a drill from your local co-op? Do it all at once and get a better stand. |
