no problem spreading it now,but it takes a long time for lime thats just thrown on top the ground to do much good.best to work it in somehow.if this is crop ground youve hit it just right as far as timing goes most likely, because you probably dont have a crop in.if you do have a crop in,and cant till it, you might wait until you can do tillage between crops and do it then.as the others say you can spread it anytime, but it takes a while to work .
