RR2 corn and real roundup

I recall on some of the earlier generations of RR corn that there was a requirement to use real roundup, and not generic Glyphosphate. In reading the tags on the newer RR2 corn I can't find that requirement. Has the technology cost been added to the cost of the seed with no requirement for using "real" stuff?

I think that requirement was just to qualify for certain programs that Monsanto offered. Had nothing to do with crop damage of effectiveness. It's all made in the same place anyway, just different labels.

(quoted from post at 16:35:27 10/08/12) Glyphosate is glyphosate....

I recognize that, but if I were to buy RR2 corn and use generic Glyphosphate is there any legal issue???
