High range second gear on an 8N? Doesn't sound like an 8N as they don't have high or low range.

| Lots of 8N's have a Sherman (or Hupp) add-on transmission that make 8 speed or 12 speed N's. They are nice to have in some situations, but I never had the need for one.

| mowing is the only time ive used mine. have a creeper transmission in a 2n, might be good for running a trencher or the like but i dont use it very often.
