The corn in SD is rapidly disappearing. Being chopped or baled everywhere. There won't be any fields for the pheasants this fall.
But next week I will start haying the CRP quarter. Can take 50% 0f most of it. But I burned it this spring so just the switchgrass is really good. SHould get 4T from about 50 acres of the 150 I plan to mow.

You lost me. 50 acres (of the 150) will only produce 160 pounds per acre? 50x160=8,000

No, No. Hay yield is usually expressed in T (tons/acre) 200 tons total.
