Potatoes

Digging potatoes today and ran across a couple that never seen before. Had wire grass (What we call it) growing through the potato.

I have had quackgrass grow into a potato. Looks just like what you call wiregrass. It is fairly dry here so I"m hoping for a decent potato crop but its too early to tell - potatoes are just blossoming now. I still have a few from last year to eat up yet.
