chicken litter on bermuda hay patch

i am considering spreading chicken litter on my bermuda patch. Would like to hear from someone with experience with it. Pros and cons. Thanks

pros, would be good N content, good calcium content,
anything manure is good for soil in my opinion,
cons- have heard of overloading on the calcium which
can screw things up, I think this was after about 10
years of spreading though, Also make sure whoever
spreads it doesnt compact your field real bad, some
use those trucks and Ive seen them tear a field up
in the wrong conditions.
