I just thought it was cold a few days ago, it was balmy compared to now....The only way I can get me shop warm today would be to set it on fire! I am ready for some of that warm twenty degree temperatures!

Ya when I got up today on the front porch it was around 10 or so. Got up at 9am by the way. The weather guessers say it will be back up in the 44s on Friday or Saturday then maybe more snow on Monday. Oh well when I think it is feeling cold I remember being up at the arctic circle and even inside of the sub you could not stay warm

It was 10 below F. here this morning, got up to 10 above and feels real warm.No wind so that's a plus.We haven't got the snow that we did last year,at least not the drifts.Last year my road had 15 ft drift half way across the road. This winter seems a breaze with no storms worth talking about, highway only closed due to ice once in Nov.and nothing since.Sounds to me like some of you down south are gettin hammered worse than us up north this year.

Had no idea you guys down in Missouri are getting that cold. Seems the cold passed me by to head down south, just what I had ordered up.

Animal you went and done it. You opened up your mouth and yep is got colder instead of warmer. This morning when I checked the thermometer it was a great big goose egg, ZERO colder then a witch's You no what

Went to the shop today, I had to give it up early my feet were frozen! I just can not keep my feet warm, I must have bad circulation in them. I had the air temp up to sixty in their, but that concrete floor is the pits. I am going to hit it again tomorrow, I have too much to get done to be spending this much time in the house.

I have a very simple way for you to keep your feet warm. Just learn to walk on your hands that way your feet are up in the warm air. LOL. Or maybe find some of those battery socks

Southeast MO was -2 with the wind chill. Just plain bitter cold. Wasn't too bad if you wear a shirt, then a hoodie, then one of the ole CPO's then a barn coat. Gerard

what kind heat you got cause I aM in every day Shop full cement flooR and itS fine but I use radiant heaT no force air units or wood burners for me anymore been there done those and DON'T compare to radiant units. 7 degree out right now

What kind of radiant heat do you have? Yes I am using wood and forced air space heater....

Sounds like he uses one that face down at the floor and then in turn reflects the heat off the floor so in the long run the floor heats up some and that can/will make a shop a good bit warmer. Best I have even seen had a wood heat system that in turn had a water heater built in and pipes in the floor so the floor got real warm and held heat for hours if not days

I use radint tube style heaters, love them, been the forceair furnace route, the wood stove built out barrel route etc. Would never go back will stay withe the radiant tube heaters just klike being in the sunshine. even today 2 below out shed was in the mid sixties. will be warmer if turn them up. very quick recovery also when open the 26ft overhead dooor on one end thats the small one.
