Shot Borer (Solutions, remedies, etc...?)

Well guys as I was walking around our orchard I noticed random trees dying for no apparent reason. Unfortunately I found the answer. My orchard has an issue with shot borer which has already hit several trees. Can anyone out there give me some solutions for this? I know spraying is more of a preventative solution since they are very hard to kill once already infested. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Glennster. I'm going to take down the infested trees and being spraying Permithrin or Malathion in January in hopes of stopping this infestation.
