HELP !!!!! Pineapple Weed Rubber Plant

So we moved to a new location with a 150 foot by 30 foot wide driveway that has a consistent weed issue. I know the gravel has way too much weed seed so it is gonna be a big issue to deal with. However, I can wait until the pineapple weed gets to maturity with surface area and spray it with a combo of glysophate and 2-4D. I get a good kill but then 3 to 4 weeks later, I get completely infested with what I understand to be rubber plant. To my knowledge, if you mow the weed, each clipping will grow into another plant, thus multiplying the issue. So, I have been waiting for rubber plant to mature and get large enough to get a hold of so it doesn"t break, and have been pulling those roots and all. Then I see all the ants underneath and wonder if I shouldn"t kill the plant sooner.

With that being said, is there anything else that I can do to take care of these issues on a more consistent basis where maybe have a one-time all summer kill? I am willing to listen to all ideas. Thanks!
