Checked the weather

I think its time to knock down some more 1st crop! Got almost 2 inches of rain here in the last 36 hours! Hope the fields aren't too soggy! Supposed to be good through Wednesday!

Edit: The good news is that the Nashua airport (about 3 miles from my fields) only got 0.39 inches, so hopefully I can mow and work the hay!

2nd edit: This is an old picture of the field I'll be working.

Looking nice!

A lot of the fields here that haven't been mowed look way over mature already.

For all the rain in New England yesterday when that front went through...I didn't get enough to wet the deck. It all split north and south of me!

Well, I beat down 'bout 200-300 bales worth! Bro came out as I was finishing, and said "That won't go on 2 wagons!" Told him "I were figgerin' on 3!" I'll have to bring the 3rd wagon home to put it under cover (20 miles), but that's alright as it's going to my neice another 10 miles further on!
She wants 150 bales so I'll stack that wagon and have it all in one trip.

well I didn't dare to be quite so aggressive. I mowed about 150 bales worth on some very dry ground.

Well, I've tedded it 4 times so far, and will probably ted it again in the morning!
Hopefully, I'll be able to rake and bale tomorrow afternoon.

I took this picture from in front of the barn this afternoon. This is part of what I'm working on.

I had trouble sleeping because of the forecast last night. I just saw this morning they said no rain until evening commute. Just the same I was glad to see from your picture that you didn't mow the whole field, because it looks like ground with some moisture in it. It looks like we should both do OK.

Had a sprinkle just after the last tedding yesterday afternoon, but not enough to do any harm! Sun was out again in about 10 minutes.

Tedded out at 10:00 this morning. Started raking just before lunch and finished raking about 1:30. Baled everything and got 255 bales on 2 wagons. All under cover and I was headed home at 4:00. Nothing cut at present, let it rain!

started raking at ten, baling at 1:00. 150 turned into more like 200. had to leave a little outside windrow in some low/ shady areas. but it's all under cover now.

Customer called last night and said she could take delivery of her hay today! I went down to the farm and took the elevator over to her barn, then went back and got the 5610 and wagon of hay! The [i:2d72460dc0]last[/i:2d72460dc0] bale went up the elevator at 10:40 just as it started to rain lightly! I managed to get the 5610 and [i:2d72460dc0]empty[/i:2d72460dc0] wagon back to the farm without getting soaked! PTL
