Dang its cold!

Isn't that how it should be this time of year here in the state of misery?? LOL. Yep around 20 degrees here with a 20 MPH wind to make it feel a whole lot colder.

we had rain the past 2 days, melted all the snow, this morning it was 40 degrees. then the temp started dropping, its in the 20's now, real icy and snowing. was going to help my neighbor try and get his corn out this weekend. dunno if thats going to happen yet or not.

As of 6:15 p.m. 30mph winds 9degrees, chill factor of freeze your a$$ off! Would you expect anything else in 2009?

Here in MN, it's been snowing a lot, but real heavy snow, temp was above freezing for most of the afternoon - 34 or so.

That is kinda warm for us.

We are right on the line of the front, warmer on one side of us, colder on the other, can't decide if it should snow, sleet, or drizzle.

I just hope that in Jan of 2010 we don't get what we did in 2007. Having no power for 7 days in 10 years is way to much and if it happens again in 2010 that will be only 3 years between and that would be to soon sort of like I hope for no tornadoes since the last time we had them bad was 2003

ive had to blade the drive every day for the last 3 days-- i know this doesnt sound like much for you in the north--but if i had to do this very often--id move further south-- i went out late today and took 2 inches off the drive and ramps-- and now have another 1 1/2 0r 2. have close to 12 on the ground and no warm up in sight. im in mid mo.

19.3" last I heard in Mitchell SD. Nice Christmas storm. Big drifts to bust through.
