Noxious vine?

The last several years I've seen an increase in some type of vine in north west Kansas. This vine climbs and covers trees, has clumps of sticker-seeds, and seems to spread very fast.
Anyone have an idea what it might be and how to get rid of it?

You might do some internet searched for "wild cucumber" and "burcucumber" and see if they look anything like what you are seeing.

I have rental land in Ness County that I haven't visited in several years---you're not close to there are you? Might mean I need to take a visit. Excellent renter and friend so I normally don't have a reason to visit.

I'm about straight north of Ness county (almost on the Nebr. state line).
