I am starting to do some farming and would like some more information on soil preparation and herbicides. Can anyone point me to some good resources?
Thank you.

This site has all the herbicide labels. So you can look up what you are applying, what it works on.

Got any local coops or ag service centers nearby?

Soil prep, whay kinda soil do you have, what climate, and what you want to grow?

University of Florida has a great website that will answer nearly any question. Google "edis" Electronic Data Information System and you can search nearly any topic. We don't grow much if any alfalfa here, but most other crops and livestock will have a publication and recommendation. I thinks it's already been mentioned but the county agent is a valuable resource as well. Good luck.
